Comes complete with Automatic Condensate Drain.

The protected filter head and bowl threads of the Pilot Compressed Air Filtration Series allows for easy bowl removal for element replacement. The large cross section of flow channels ensures reduced pressure drop, while the pressure relief device allows for safe removal of the filter bowl. Additional features include a hexagonal filter bowl clamp ring and anodised aluminium filter bodies (inside and out) to prevent corrosion. External surfaces are powder coated, plus modular facility for simple series connection of multiple filters or wall mounting.

    Filter element features include:

    • Large surface area and in-depth bed filtration for high efficiency and low pressure drop.
    • Double (inner and outer) polyester needle felt sock suitable for high temperatures (120 ̊C) and resistant to synthetic oils.
    • Push on element with double O-ring for speedy element replacement and air tight connection.
    • Four grades of filtration to cover all requirements for clean compressed air in respect of ISO 8573.1.
    • Silicone-free manufacturing.
    • Colour coded. No mistakes when replacing elements.

    Frequently asked questions

What does “Built for Australian conditions” mean for the 1 Micron Series S filter?

The Pilot 1 Micron Industrial Air Filter Series S is designed to withstand Australia’s climate, with anodised aluminium bodies (inside and out) for corrosion resistance, powder-coated exteriors, and elements rated up to 120 °C — making it ideal for Sydney workshops and industrial environments.

What filtration performance and flow rates can I expect?

The 1 Micron Filter Series S captures particles, liquid, and oil down to 1 micron, with a maximum residual oil content of 0.1 mg/m³. Flow rates range from 14.1 L/sec (≈ 30 SCFM) for smaller units to 699.8 L/sec (≈ 1,483 SCFM) for the largest models.

What safety and usability features are included?

The Pilot 1 Micron Filter Series S includes protected head and bowl threads for safe removal, a pressure relief device for easy servicing, an automatic condensate drain, and colour-coded elements to avoid mix-ups — trusted features for Sydney’s busy industrial sites.

What is included when I purchase the 1 Micron Series S filter?

Each Series S filter comes with a durable filter body, the correct cartridge element, an automatic condensate drain, and BSP connections — ready to integrate into compressed air treatment systems across Sydney and NSW.

How do I maintain the 1 Micron Series S filter for long-term performance?

To maintain your Pilot 1 Micron Filter, replace the filter element as scheduled, inspect and clean the bowl, check the automatic condensate drain, and ensure upstream pre-filtration is in place to extend element life. Pilot Air provides Sydney-based servicing and spare parts.
