From air compressors through to compressed air storage, treatment and distribution, our extensive range of compressed air products ensures we have the right solution for your business needs, no matter the industry or application. We also offer custom-built packages and compressed air systems that are fit for purpose and tailored to your budget.
The Pilot 045-D031 Mechanical Condensate Drain Vertical Receiver is designed to withstand Australia’s demanding environments — it’s fully mechanical (no electrical timer that can fail in high moisture), rated for vertical receivers, and built to reduce maintenance and withstand the heat, dust, and humidity found in Sydney and other regions.
The 045-D031 unit is an automatic mechanical condensate drain (not electric-timed), meaning it senses liquid condensate buildup and drains it without needing external power — helping avoid failures and downtime in harsh and humid Sydney workshops.
The Pilot 045-D031 Mechanical Condensate Drain comes with a ½″ BSP inlet connection, suited to vertical air receiver tank setups — making it compatible with many existing systems in industrial and commercial sites around Sydney.
By automatically removing condensate, the 045-D031 drain helps keep filters operating efficiently, prevents moisture-related damage in air receivers and piping, and reduces manual maintenance — all helping reduce overall costs and improve uptime for businesses in Sydney.
The Pilot 045-D031 Mechanical Condensate Drain should be installed on vertical receivers with correct orientation, ensure the ½″ BSP inlet is connected securely, regularly inspect for blockage or wear in the mechanical parts, and ensure the drain path is clear so condensate can exit properly. Spare parts and servicing are available locally in Sydney.
We have a growing manufacturing business and our air supply needed to be upgraded to deliver to a clean volume of air to specific machines and mainly our spray booth. 3 Months ago the team at Pilot Air evaluated our requirement and delivered an excellent solution, we have had time to run the system for a considerable time and found it to be excellent. Also Australian Manufactured to boot. Very Happy.
My husband recently bought a second hand Trademaster 12 air compressor in need of some maintenance. He took it to the Silverwater servicing centre with no prior arrangement. The staff were polite, obliging, and eager to help, and he was impressed with the service provided. Well done Pilot Air!
I would just like to thank Debbie and the team at Pilot Air Compressors Service Department for a great job done this morning.
Excellent job done, Great Staff & Great Service

Thanks Pilot Air! We have just purchased our third pilot compressor (K50). Our oldest one (K25) is 14 years old and still going strong, used all day every day only replaced pressure switch.
